Author Biography: Tony Nalley

Tony Nalley, a Kentucky native born in 1966, has spent his life weaving stories that blend personal experiences with a rich tapestry of imagination. Raised in the charming town of Bardstown by his parents, Tom and Libby Nalley, Tony’s passion for storytelling ignited at a young age. At just nine years old, armed with a cassette tape recorder that represented the height of technology at the time, he recorded his grandfather recounting captivating "ghost stories." This formative moment planted the seeds for a lifelong dedication to storytelling, leading him to transcribe those tales into books for future generations to enjoy.

A devoted single father, Tony has raised his son on his own since he was just three years old. Their home is filled with love and companionship, not only from each other but also from their dog, Brownie, and their shared cat, Blackie. The family dynamic is rounded out by a white cat, who currently awaits a name that suits their curious personality.

In the spring of 2010, Tony began penning the first installment of his epic trilogy, "The Stone of Blood." This marked the beginning of a prolific writing career during which he has published ten captivating books and even released a music CD. With a unique ability to transport readers through vivid narratives, Tony takes them on a journey through his own life—along the familiar streets of Bardstown and back to the hardwood floors where the echoes of his grandfather’s ghost stories still resonate.

Tony’s imaginative prowess shines in his latest works, including the recently released final book in "The Darkness Series," titled "The Darkness Beneath the Twilight Skies," now available for readers to explore. Additionally, fans can look forward to a delightful second children's book set to be published in late fall 2024.
